I own several skirts from Deborah and Co. and even though this skirt is considered maternity, I purchased it while not pregnant.
That was about a year or so ago.
I wore and laundered it many times before I became pregnant and now that I'm entering my third trimester (my 6th time through the third trimester, so it had to be up to the challenge), it fits as well as it did the day I received it.
When not pregnant, I fold down the panel, and as my belly has grown, the panel still holds up its integrity.
As I put it on yesterday, I noted how impressed I was with how well it still flows over my growing belly and doesn't constrict.
Having the typical "pear shaped" figure, and feeling a bit disproportionate during pregnancy, the fabric and pattern of this skirt are wonderful to help smooth everything, so that I feel lovely, feminine, and put together.
The most versatile skirt in my closet, I've worn it to church, to formal occasions, to homeschool conferences, and even while running everyday errands around town.
I look forward to continuing to wear this skirt after the birth and during the years to come.
Thanks, Deborah and Co. for offering yet another high quality item to moms and expectant moms, who desire to look feminine and fashionable while they embrace the changes pregnancy brings.

I really wanted to like this skirt, and actually it looked nice right out of the package. Unfortunately, after having it less than 3 months and washing it only a half-dozen times, it had noticeable pilling over a large section of the skirt. It no longer looks nice. I've had skirts of similar material before and never had such bad pilling and certainly not in so short a time.
Also, the belly panel doesn't work well for non-maternity. When I folded it down in half, it was too flimsy to make a sharp crease and I was constantly readjusting an irregular waistline. When I tried folding it down all the way, there was this weird excess fabric bunching up around my waist and hips, because it didn't lay flat.
And even for maternity, the belly panel was too flimsy and didn't have enough grab to it. My belly fills up the panel now. The fit is fine. But with movement throughout the day it's prone to slipping down lower on my belly. Which becomes a serious problem if maternity tops aren't extra long.
I cannot recommend this skirt at all.

I was looking for a dressy, comfortable and modest maternity skirt and this skirt fit all three wonderfully. I am so pleased with this skirt!

this is one of the most comfortable skirts I own...and it doesn't crease! the fabric is very soft and drapes nicely. truly a very feminine skirt...and best of all my husband loves it!I gave it 4 stars as the fit is slightly larger than another Deborah and Co skirt I own. Would have gone one size smaller if I could.
